6 WEEK PUPPY SOCIALISATION/FOUNDATION TRAINING COURSE -

Q. What type of training is it?

A. This course provides foundation training covering focus, manners, walking and recall.

Q. Which dogs will benefit from this session?

A. This session is primarily aimed at puppies up to and including 6 months of age, that have completed their vaccination course and are allowed out. It provides socialisation and foundation training in a controlled and happy environment.

Q. What is involved?

A. We will teach you techniques that when carried on at home will help you achieve a well behaved, socialised dog. Even if your dog can sit, stay, lie down and come to his/her name, there is so much more that your dog can and will do. Learn with us, and watch how your clever puppy can quickly progress and is eager and happy to learn new things.

Q. What should I bring?

A.

* Your vaccination record card. If you don’t have one, speak to the vet who vaccinated your dog, so that they can issue one.

* A well fitted collar and non-extendable lead

* ID on your dogs collar (this is a legal requirement even though your dog is microchipped)

* Poo bags

* Treats to provide encouragement - a variety works best

Q. Which dogs will benefit from this session?

A. This session is aimed at those dogs that have enjoyed the beginners session, and whose handlers are keen to increase the level of training from basic obedience.
